Google is at Cebit for the first time and it's trying to sell an idea to a skeptical German public: that its Street View service isn't something to be feared. Google has faced varying levels of resistance to Street View from privacy advocates in Europe but has gone ahead and launched in most major nations. Germany remains the exception thus the chram offensive at Cebit, which attracted 400,000 visitors in 2009.
