Religion and culture are expressions tied to the deep longings of humanity and must build bridges of dialogue and cooperation among peoples.  Benedict XVI noted this as he received Luvsantersen Orgil, the new Ambassador of Mongolia to the Holy See. Human development, the Pope said, should consider each dimension of the person and respect his spiritual nature. For this reason the Holy See appreciates the Mongolian government's commitment in favor of religious freedom and reaffirms that the primary mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to contribute effectively to the development of the society in which it is a part.
