Byron Cruz is a 15-year old Hispanic boy from Queens trying to keep his head above water at school. However, the world of rules and regulations is at odds with everything boyhood stands for. Aided by his mischievous best friend Ray, Byron struggles to outwit a school system that seems set against him.
