After watching my video on the Evernote App for Android one of our viewers suggested I look into an app called AK Notepad, powered by Catch.com. This app follows the Unix mantra "do one thing, and do it well". It's a very simple note taking app. It lets you title your notes, add inline tags to help you categorize and find your notes later, and syncs with your Catch.com account -- and that's it. It's fast, it's sleek, and it gets the job done. It can't, however, compete with Evernote's ability to save voice and picture notes.
