The Pope has said that only by relying on God is it possible to humanize society and rediscover the true destiny of all mankind. Speaking to the bishops of the Philippines at the end of their Ad Limina visit, Benedict XVI praised the vitality of the Church in the Philippines, the commitment of small ecclesial communities and lay organizations who are at the forefront of transmitting the Christian message to all of society. The Pope then stressed the importance of evangelization and the formation of young Christian families based on the indissolubility of marriage. Finally, he hoped that many young people would respond to the call to the priesthood and consecrated life.
