The protests against Colonel Gaddafi's rule in Libya have spread to the country's capital for the first time since the unrest began - with reports of gunfire in Tripoli. Speaking on Libyan State TV, Colonel Gaddafi's son warned the demonstrators there could be civil war - but said reports of the number of dead have been exaggerated.
