The long-awaited FIFTY-thousand won bill is set to make its debut on this Tuesday, June 23rd. The Bank of Korea says the new banknote will be available to the public from NINE a.m. through bank tellers and select automated teller machines.The note features renowned artist Sinsaimdang of the Joseon Dynasty who is the first woman to appear on a bill in the country. It's been THIRTY SIX years since the current highest-denomination bill of TEN-thousand won was introduced.
